Mongolians, dignitaries, businesses and non-profits working with Mongolia from throughout North America will join Coloradoans for a weekend of celebration and exploration hosted by the Ulaanbaatar Denver Sister Cities Committee (of DSCI, Inc.), the North America Mongolian Alliance, Honorary Consul of Mongolia, Denver and the Mongolian Community Association of Colorado.  

October 16th is the opening night of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science exhibit Genghis Khan and the Ulaanbaatar Denver Sister Cities Committee’s Genghis Khan Gala. This Gala will kick off the first ever North America Khuraldai.  The evening Gala includes a V.I.P. reception, special tours of the exhibit, an entertaining party with live music, performances, and a special event (being kept under wraps).  The Gala benefits the Sister Cities’ premier US-Mongolia high-school exchange program: The Luby-Jenkins School Pairing Program.   
           
On October 17th, the North America Mongolian Alliance’s North America Khuraldai continues with a general assembly and four breakout workshops addressing the contemporary experiences of Mongolians in North America.  Assisting in the Khuraldai is the Embassy of Mongolia in Washington, D.C., The North America-Mongolia Business Council, and the Mongolian Ministry of Education, Science and Culture.  To register:  www.mongoliadenver.org; call 303-832-6173 or DSCI office 303-832-1336, or www.blacktie.org.
