Colorado’s first Japanese immigrants worked on railroads, in coal mines and on farms. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about the contributions of Japanese immigrants to Colorado and celebrate their enduring legacy with crafts, activities and artifacts available for the whole family. Also included is entrance to the Colorado History Museum’s exhibits, which is free every day.

Schedule:  Noon: Denver Taiko performance; 1:30: Japanese Tea Ceremony demonstration; 2:30: Denver Taiko
