Empower our inclusive community to create and maintain a high quality of life for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.

The Partnership

For over 30 years, the Aurora Asian/Pacific Community Partnership—affectionately known as The Partnership by members and the community—has been a bridge for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) in the city of Aurora, Colorado. The group helps to cover the gap between community and resources, and also connects groups and individuals to one another through cultural education, celebrations, support, important discussions and, of course, food.

With a network that expands across the greater metro area (and globally!), the Partnership collaborates to promote AANHPI communities, arts, business, education, and representation. We welcome your interest and invite you to learn more about our inclusive community!

We’re here for our community.

Meet any one of our committee members, and you’re meeting someone with a passion for service. While most members serve on boards and committees within their respective communities, we also come together for causes and projects. Although the past few years have been incredibly challenging for us all, we have had the opportunity to give back to our communities through grants from the Colorado Health Foundation. See Our Efforts page to learn more about our health and equity endeavors.

We’re here as a connection.

One of the greatest rewards of the Partnership is learning about the vast diversity within the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander heritage. “So grateful to the Aurora Asian/Pacific Community Partnership and the AAPI community in Colorado! You’re my ohana away from home and the ohana in Colorado that supports me in every way possible!

So happy that The Chamber got me involved in 2012. Over the past 9 years on the board I have been too lucky to have this community and the Partnership by my side.”

- Chance H., Past Co-Chair

“Having a place to connect with others in our community, to feel supported, and to learn about our diverse AAPI groups has created a sense of belonging for me.”

- Alexa D., Secretary, Steering Committee Member
